| JPC Equestrian Inc., a leading national equestrian wholesaler located in Drums, PA, is looking for a Sales Associate for managing customer relationships in assigned territory. The position will report to the Vice President and will require travel to stores, servicing customer calls and e-mails, and making outbound calls. Position is available for immediate opening. |
| Responsibilities include: |
• |
Willingness to travel nationally approx. 2-3 weeks out of the month to current and potential retailers |
• |
Introducing new products to customers |
• |
Developing and maintaining sales materials and current product knowledge |
• |
Studying territories and bringing back new ideas from those territories |
• |
Training dealers on effective product marketing strategies |
• |
Building and maintaining ongoing relationships with current and potential retailers |
• |
Developing creative ideas on how to improve in-store presence |
• |
In-store merchandising |
• |
Ability to explain and compare JPC products vs. the competitors |
• |
Identifying new product and service opportunities and keeping up on current trends in the equine industry |

| Qualifications include: |
• |
Ability to work independently as well as within a group |
• |
Strong equine background preferred |
• |
Sophisticated communications skills, both written and verbal |
• |
Strong customer service skills |
• |
Merchandising experience a plus |
